The Ï㽶ÊÓƵ’s Emergency Medical Technician program and Paramedic program are looking for students who are interested in pursuing a short-term certificate program this fall. Both programs are financial aid eligible.
The EMT program is a 15-week course that includes lectures, skills labs and clinical experiences on ambulances and in an emergency department. Graduates of this program are eligible to apply for state certification and may find work as an EMT on ambulances, in hospitals, in industrial settings and more. Fall classes start Aug. 17 at the Citrus Campus and the EMT program meets four days a week from 6-10 p.m.
The Paramedic program is a shift-friendly 12-month program that includes lecture, skills labs with experienced field personnel using state-of-the-art simulators, and clinical experiences in the operating room, emergency department, intensive care, cardiac catheterization lab, labor and delivery and prehospital settings.
